PASE Professional Development Coordinator – Immediate Opening
S.C. Governor’s School for Science & Mathematics (GSSM)
Exciting outreach position for directing and implementing the Portable Advanced Science Exploration (PASE) project in schools (grades 7-12). Will help develop and deliver inquiry-based science lessons that integrate learning and science technologies.
Candidates should have enthusiasm for teaching/learning, versatility, excellent communication skills in addition to teaching experience and/or professional development training experience, a demonstrated ability to collaborate with teachers, and an understanding of science and/or mathematics learning technologies. BS required in science and/or mathematics with a Masters preferred. A public teaching certificate is not required. Instructional design experience is a plus.
This is a grant-funded and full-time State of South Carolina position with benefits. Travel is required for demonstrations and working with partner schools and teachers.
