School Report Card
In 1998, the General Assembly passed the Education Accountability Act, which requires
an annual report card for every school in South Carolina. Recognizing that the measurements for a public high school would not challenge GSSM, a separate set of criteria were established and high levels of achievement were set for an "excellent" rating.
The performance of GSSM students has been increasingly impressive over the years. For more information about the school report card, visit the
South Carolina Education Oversight Committee.
