GSSM Student Handbook

The Division of Student Development welcomes you to the South Carolina Governor's School for Science and Mathematics! As a student, you are the most important part of our school. Please remember that everything you do has an impact on those living around you. Your cooperation, consideration, and respect for others are necessary for the success of your school community.

Several changes and updates have been made to the Student Handbook this year. Please read your handbook thoroughly and completely. You are responsible for all material in the handbook and are required to follow all guidelines and policies contained within. These policies are for your benefit and protection and help maintain the best possible living and learning environment for you and your fellow students. As a student, you are bound by the Honor Code of GSSM to do your best to uphold these
policies.

Please keep this handbook for future reference. GSSM reserves the right to revise and clarify policies as warranted according to situations that arise during the academic year.
