Prior to joining GSSM, Dr. Reyes was an associate professor of mathematics at Norfolk State University. During his tenure there, he was involved in multiple National Science Foundation funded grants that focused on improving the level of K-12 education being offered in Virginia. While his doctorate research was in applied probability, he has also published articles in the education field. As a New York City native, Dr. Reyes has relocated to Hartsville with his wife, Venesa, and their three children. In the realm of hobbies, he is an avid photographer who treasures travel and time with his
family.
