GSSM Vice President Invited to Present Research at International Conference

Dr. Hemant Pendharkar, Vice President for Academic Affairs at the South Carolina Governor's School for Science and Mathematics (GSSM), has been invited to present his recent research findings to the Scientific Committee of the Fifth International Conference of Applied Mathematics and Computing (FICAMC) in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, August 12-18, 2008.
FICAMC is a natural continuation of the Fourth International Conference of Applied Mathematics and Computing, which took place in Plovdiv, August 12-18, 2007. More than 350 participants from 57 countries took part in Fourth Conference.
All invited lecturers will be included in special issues of The International Journal of Pure and Applied Mathematics. A volume with the abstracts will be published and each participant will obtain a copy during registration.
Dr. Pendharkar joined the GSSM administration as Vice President for Academic Affairs in July 2007. Prior to joining GSSM, he was a tenured associate professor at Worcester State College in Worcester, Massachusetts.
