GSSM Students Set to Move Onto Campus August 15 and 17
August 13, 2008
Moving away from home and into a dorm for the first time can be a frightening experience, especially if you are only 15 years old. On August 15, 64 of South Carolina's best and brightest high school juniors will move to their new home at the South Carolina Governor's School for Science and Mathematics campus in Hartsville. A few days later, on August 17, 64 rising seniors will move back to campus, too.
A public, residential high school for academically talented and motivated juniors and seniors, GSSM offers college-level courses and hands-on curriculum with a special focus on science, math, technology and research.
