It's Been How Long?
Alumni share laughs and memories at 2010 Alumni Reunion

They came from different cities, different coasts and
different graduating classes, but Govies from near and far came together
June 4-5 to reminisce at the 2010 Alumni Reunion. The weekend marked
the 20-year reunion for GSSM's charter class and the 10-year reunion for
the Class of 2000 and attendees celebrated in true Govie fashion,
complete with a quick physics lesson from Dr. Clyde Smith, a game of
ultimate Frisbee and a "Happy Half" celebration.

GSSM Alumna Named to "Top 10 in 10" list by Augusta Metro Chamber of Commerce

Tina Beasley Baggott, '95, has
been named to the "Top 10 in 10" list by the Augusta Metro Chamber of
Commerce. The list recognizes the most outstanding young professionals
in Augusta by featuring them in Augusta Magazine and honoring them at the chamber's Member Economic Luncheon.
As a recipient Baggott, the director of marketing for Comcast Cable, has been automatically nominated to Georgia Trend's 40 Under 40 competition later this year.
Good luck Tina! |
Beware of Facebook Spam Friend Requests
It
has come to our attention that there has been a recent spate of friend
requests from accounts claiming to be GSSM graduates. If you receive a
friend request from an account you don't recognize, it could be a spam
friend request. You can decline and report the person to Facebook, or
"friend" at your own risk. |
