Groundbreaking

20th Anniversary Celebration
Bright Minds - Bright Mission
1988 - 2008

This is a tremendously exciting time for the Governor's School for Science and Mathematics. We are entering our 20th year at the same time we are embarking on the final phase of construction of our new campus.

The new facilities will launch dramatic expansions of our school. Not only will we grow in size, we will increase the scope of our endeavors to include innovative new programs in economics and engineering. Simultaneously, we will expand our reach to include cooperative programs in Asia and Europe. We look forward to greeting our distinguished alumni, parents and friends at our April 25th groundbreaking and at the four remaining anniversary celebrations scheduled to take place throughout the next twelve months. It is a great time for the Governor's School and a great time for South Carolina.
