January Interim

For three fun-filled weeks in January, students at GSSM are treated to a variety of educational offerings different from their normal courses of study.

Known as January Interim, this break from routine is designed to expose and inspire students with unique and enlightening educational experiences.

Courses run the gamut from science and technology to art, music and drama. Popular choices include "Game Development," "Introduction to Film making," "Art in the Interim" and "Scuba Diving." Several courses usually include travel and field experiences with at least one overseas opportunity.

Interim courses are taught by members of the GSSM faculty, along with visiting professors from South Carolina colleges and universities.
