Visit GSSM
Visiting the campus is a great way to experience first-hand the energy of the school. The Admissions Office can schedule individual tours or students can attend one of two Preview Days held each school year in November and January.
Individual Visits
Visiting students can shadow current students, sit in on classes, visit with teachers, and eat a meal in the dining hall to get a real sense of what a day is like as a Governor's School student. A group of enthusiastic student ambassadors leads tours for prospective students, giving a real insider's look at the academic and residential aspects of life on campus.
Preview Days
At the Preview Day sessions, prospective students and their parents have an opportunity to tour the campus and visit with many of the Governor's School faculty, staff and current students.
A reservation is required for students and their parents to attend the Preview Days on November 8, 2008*, and January 19, 2009. Following confirmation of the reservation, students will receive a packet with directions, a detailed agenda, and a list of local restaurants and hotels in the area.
