Ms. Pettit grew up in Spartanburg, SC. She has spent the last 10 years working in student affairs and residence life. She comes back to the land of southern accents, sweet tea and BBQ after working in New York City and California.
Ms. Pettit brings her experiences from a variety of higher education institutions and positions to share new ideas and promote growth in the residence life and student activities areas at GSSM. Ms. Pettit's position at GSSM is very diverse as she supervises the residence life staff, manages the student residence life experience, assists with student discipline, teaches Life and Leisure classes, manages the club and society structure and initiates and supports campus-wide student activities. She enjoys working with students and is always seeking ways to improve the student experience at GSSM.
