Alexander (Ike) B. Coleman

Mr. Coleman teaches Senior English and World Literature.   Before coming to GSSM, he taught in public schools in a very rural county of eastern Virginia. After that he directed a writing project at Clemson University, involving a number of public schools in South Carolina.  While at Clemson, he taught some American literature courses. 

In addition, Mr. Coleman spent several years traveling in the United States, Europe, Central and South America, working numerous jobs, including crew on a commercial salmon boat, park ranger in the Olympic National Park, waiter, longshoreman and construction worker.
